Pattersons Gives Back

Windthorst Elementary won the Pattersons Gives Back Committee Choice Award for this quarter.  They received a 2000.00 prize to help build raised beds for vegetables and flowers that will be tended to by the students.  The life skills class will take the pride of making sure the beds are kept and maintained while additional students and classes will help by planting, weeding and harvesting the finished vegetables.  The main inspiration and goal is for all students to feel worthy and know there is something they can work hard and be successful in completing.  These students will not only learn how to plant and cultivate vegetables and fruits, but they will also learn how to save money by producing your own food.  We want to thank Pattersons for giving back and our community for taking time to vote for our project.
